- Muslim
Equality Casework Project
This project will monitor and identify
specific incidences of Islamophobic discrimination, harassment
and violence. It will provide direct advice and assistance to
victims and complainants, and where necessary, refer them to other
agencies that can help. In the long term, the project will develop
its own legal casework.
- Institutional
Discrimination Project
Building on the Lawrence Report
that highlighted the problem of institutional racism, this project
will seek to challenge institutional religious discrimination
by promoting best practice. This will be done through the production
and distribution of Religious Equality Standards, Codes of Practice
and direct advice on fair policies, procedures and practices.
-
Policy
Research and Lobbying
Through analysis of its project
work the Forum will formulate policies and advise relevant agencies
on tackling Islamophobic and Muslim alienating trends in society.
To verify findings from its analyses, or to cover new ground,
the Forum will also commission properly conducted research.
