One of our
primary aims is to get the Muslim community as a whole more aware of
the media and more involved in engaging with, shaping and creating
the media.
We regularly
preview forthcoming radio and television programmes. When we see an
item that is related to British Muslims or may be of interest to
Muslims and ethnic minorities in the U.K, we send out a media
preview with the details and encourage subscribers to view or listen
to the programmes and respond as necessary.
The FAIR office
systematically monitors and responds when necessary to all such
programmes as a part of the media and popular culture watch
project.
