Being a part of
our active volunteers network means you will be part of a team
responsible for monitoring and responding to mainstream media, you
may be responsible for:
Monitoring
Be part of a team
to systematically monitor regular and ad hoc radio and TV programmes
Responding
Be part of a
rapid response team who will act upon items of relevance picked up
by the monitoring process. This may include writing press releases
or writing responses to articles in newspapers, magazines. TV or
radio programmes.
Media Packs
Help us with the
research and writing of Media Packs which provide detailed
information for media professionals on campaigns we are running or
issues affecting the Muslim community.
Conferences/Training
Help us to
develop and run training programmes for empowering the Muslim
community to engage positively with the media and also for media
professionals to enhance their understanding of the Muslim
community.
